Russia's ambassador visits the governor

On Thursday, February 20, H. E. Mr. Evgeny Vladimirovich Afanasiev, Ambassador of Russia to Japan, paid a courtesy call on Governor Masuzoe.

The governor said, "I will leave for Sochi tomorrow. I look very forward to my trip. I wish to make the Tokyo 2020 Olympics and Paralympics the best ever, and hope to learn from the experiences of the Sochi Winter Games. I would be very grateful if you could inform me about the measures that were taken, especially for the very important matters of public safety and counterterrorism."
