Governor returns from Beijing

Governor Masuzoe returned to Japan on Saturday, April 26, from his official 3-day trip to Beijing. During his visit, the governor visited Beijing National Stadium (Bird's Nest) and other facilities used during the Beijing Olympic and Paralympic games, and also met with Beijing Mayor Wang Anshun and spoke at the Capital Normal University. Speaking to the press at Haneda Airport upon his return, the governor said his visit "opened a new page in relations between Beijing and Tokyo."
