Turkey's ambassador visits the governor

On Thursday, August 21, H.E. Mr. A. Bulent Meric, Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Japan, paid a courtesy call on Governor Masuzoe.

At the meeting, the governor said, "I am very pleased that this year will mark the 90th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Turkey and Japan. With both countries prone to earthquakes and natural disaster, I hope that we will also work together to face this kind of common challenge. In addition, I hope to welcome many visitors from Turkey to the 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Tokyo."
