Governor of Chungcheongnam-do Province, Republic of Korea, visits Governor Masuzoe

On Tuesday, October 13, Ahn Hee-Jung, Governor of Chungcheongnam-do Province, met with Governor Masuzoe at the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office. Among other things, the two governors talked about PR activities to attract tourism following the listing of the Baekje Historic Areas as a world heritage site in July this year. Noting that Asia will be host to two major global sports festivities, with Olympic and Paralympic Games taking place in PyeongChang in 2018 and Tokyo in 2020, Governor Masuzoe said that he wished to continue the cooperation between Japan and Korea.
