Invest Tokyo Seminar to be held at Roppongi Hills 

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government (TMG) is advancing with its program to encourage foreign companies to expand into its special economic zone, with the aim of drawing more investment, talent, and firms from around the world and transforming Tokyo into a city that is even more open to global business.

The TMG is pleased to announce that it will hold the “Invest Tokyo Seminar” for foreign affiliates in Japan as well as foreign embassies and chambers of commerce in Tokyo to introduce the changing face of Tokyo and anticipated business opportunities emerging as it prepares to host the 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The seminar will also introduce the specific business and living support services provided by the “Business Development Center TOKYO※”.

“Business Development Center TOKYO※”: A comprehensive, one-stop consultation desk that provides business and living support for foreign companies and entrepreneurs intending to start up business in Tokyo or are already doing so.

  • Opening remarks by the representatives from the Tokyo Metropolitan Government and the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry
  • Keynote address about the future and allure of Tokyo by the Mori Memorial Foundation
  • Presentations on support services for foreign companies provided by the TMG and the JETRO
  • Presentation by a company that used services provided by the Business Development Center TOKYO
  • Networking
