Renewal of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government's Website

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government revamped its website (foreign language versions) as part of efforts to bolster its provision of information about Tokyo to people overseas. In addition to providing information to the non-Japanese residents of Tokyo, the revamped website now also provides people overseas with easy-to-understand information about the appeal of Tokyo as a destination for tourism, business, and investment.

This website can also be easily viewed on smartphones and tablets. Please check it out!

(1)Introduction of global navigation

Content divided into four easy-to-understand categories so that users can quickly locate the information they need.

*Four categories: [About Our City], [Guide for Residents], [Business], and [Things to Do].

(2)Introduction of responsive web design

Content is optimized to display in accordance with smartphone, tablet and other screen widths.

(3)Design using many images

Various photos and videos are used to effectively convey the appeal of Tokyo to people overseas
