Posters delivering the “Tokyo Connections. New Beginnings.” message have been created for use in Japan and abroad.
Emphasis has been placed on the “& TOKYO” logo and slogan while depicting Tokyo as an attractive city where foreign tourists gather and have fun.
In addition to the logo and slogan, posters featuring various themes have been created with the five Tokyo core values colors in the background.
In this promotional video aimed at international travelers, Governor Masuzoe speaks about Tokyo’s attractions, rich culture, and the city’s history as a “city of water,” while strolling through Hama-rikyu Gardens. The video will now be used for various purposes, including promoting travel to Tokyo abroad.

This series of videos aims to visually convey the “Tokyo Connections. New Beginnings” message of the “& Tokyo” campaign. Each video centers on two international tourists, a man and a woman, as they experience the city. Six versions have been produced in total.
The main characters take a walk through the city where the past meets the future. They encounter stimulating culture which is diverse and complex. Along the way, they meet people with a warm spirit of Japanese hospitality. Food. Housing. Architecture. Fashion. Technology. Art. Entertainment.
The experiences available in Tokyo are ones that can only be enjoyed “Here” and “Now.” Meet the city of Tokyo. Experience Tokyo. This city is sure to offer something new to everyone who visits.

Lending support to the Tokyo Brand initiative, several world-renowned personalities made appearances in the video, including movie director and comedian Takeshi Kitano, artist Yayoi Kusama, sumo stable master Musashigawa (67th yokozuna Musashimaru), model and actress Kiko Mizuhara, and musical groups such as MAN WITH A MISSION and CTS.

The branding video will be shown at the start of every screening session at the Tokyo International Film Festival between October 22 and October 31. In addition, it will be aired as a commercial on CNN to viewers worldwide starting on Thursday, October 22.
