Extra Train Services for 2016 Summer Fireworks Festivals

Again this summer, various evening fireworks displays will be held near stations served by Toei Transportation trains.
To make it easier for people to come and enjoy the fireworks, the Bureau of Transportation will be running extra services on the Toei Subway and Nippori-Toneri Liner. The details are shown below.

Adachi Fireworks Festival

About 13,500 fireworks　Canceled in the event of bad weather

Temporary service changes All nine Airport Limited Express trains leaving Higashi-nihombashi between 3:53 p.m and 6:33 p.m, will be changed to Access Express or Limited Express trains and will stop at all stations between Higashi-nihombashi and Oshiage.

Oedo Line, nearest station: Kuramae

No extra service on the Oedo Line.

Itabashi Fireworks Festival

August 6 (Sat), 7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
About 6,000 fireworks　Will be postponed to the next day in the event of bad weather

Temporary change to service Express trains leaving Ojima between 3:38 p.m. and 5:28 p.m. in the direction of Motoyawata will make a special stop at Shinozaki.

2016 Jingu Gaien Fireworks Festival

August 20 (Sat), 7:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
About 12,000 fireworks　Will be postponed to the next day in the event of bad weather

Oedo Line, nearest stations: Kokuritsu-kyogijo, Aoyama-itchome

There will be no extra services on the Oedo Line.
