Taste of Tokyo 2016 Executive Committee
The Tokyo Metropolitan Government will hold the Taste of Tokyo 2016, an event which aims to share the various attractions of Tokyo with those in Japan and abroad, including the agricultural, forestry, and marine products of Tokyo and cuisine made from such ingredients, as well as the traditional culture that has been passed down through the ages.
At this, the third Taste of Tokyo, each festival area, Marunouchi, Yurakucho, and Hibiya, will again offer its own exciting combination of delicious food, exhibits, and activities. We look forward to seeing you at the event!
October 7, 2016 (Fri.) 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
October 8 (Sat.), October 9 (Sun.) 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
To be held in the event of rain. (May be cancelled in inclement weather.) Hours subject to change.
*Yurakucho area Festival runs until 7:00 p.m. on Oct. 8 (Sat.) and Oct. 9 (Sun.)
Hibiya area To be held for two days on Oct. 8 (Sat.) and Oct. 9 (Sun.) only
Food trucks to sell dishes created by famous chefs featuring Tokyo ingredients. Traditional crafts to be exhibited and sold.
A collaboration with regions across Japan. Local cuisine, sweets, and specialty items to be introduced and sold.
Local restaurants and famous food trucks to sell food. An outdoor movie screening and other events to be held.

Long-Term Vision for Toky
This project is related to the following urban strategies and approaches of the Long-Term Vision for Tokyo.
Taste of Tokyo is part of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government’s ALL JAPAN & TOKYO Project, in which the TMG, in cooperation with other regions of Japan, leverages the strengths of “all Japan” to raise the profile of various industries from around the country.
