The winners of a photo contest that promotes the attractions of 10 Asian cities have been announced.
The contest is part of the "Welcome to Asia Campaign" by the Council for Promotion of Tourism in Asia(*), which supports collaboration between Asian cities to attract tourists from the United States, Europe, and Oceania and facilitates exchange within Asia.
* The Council for Promotion of Tourism in Asia is the entity that promotes the Welcome to Asia Campaign. The council helps participating cities exchange information with each other and build networks for promoting tourism. Participating cities collaborate with each other to attract tourists from North America, Europe, Asia, Oceania, and other parts of the world. Cities participating in the council are: Bangkok, Delhi, Hanoi, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Manila, Seoul, Taipei, Tomsk, and Tokyo.

The 10 Asian cities refer to the participating cities of the Council for Promotion of Tourism in Asia.
From 2 p.m. Friday, June 1, 2018 to Tuesday, July 31, 2018
Fifty Excellence Award photos are selected, five by each of the 10 participating cities. Of those, 10 photos are selected to win the Best Photo Award, with each city choosing one entry.
