Announcing the Hosting of Final Event of Tokyo 2020 Olympic Flag and Paralympic Flag Tour,
“Tokyo 2020 500 Days to Go!”

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government (TMG) is pleased to announce the details of the final event of Tokyo 2020 Olympic Flag and Paralympic Flag Tour, “Tokyo 2020 500 Days to Go!”. This event was also announced on 22 February 2019.

Saturday 30 March 2019
Part I 15:00 – 15:45
Part II 16:00 – 16:45
Hands-on sports experience for visitors 17:00 – 17:45

Marunouchi Central Square at Tokyo Station (1-9 Marunouchi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo)
Note) In the event of inclement weather, the event will be held at 1st Floor, JP TOWER / KITTE Atrium (2-7-2 Marunouchi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo)

• Opening remarks by Governor Koike & Minister Sakurada
• Special movie presentation looking back at the Flag Tours
• Talk session presented by special ambassadors TOKIO and athletes
• Taekwondo demonstration

Part II – Special ambassador and athletes sports face-off

• BMX, Skateboarding, Boccia

Note)
After Part II, hands-on sports experience will be available for visitors. (BMX, Skateboarding, Boccia)
Athletes who participated in Part I will also participate in some parts of the hands-on sports experience.
Activities may change in the event of rain.
