Bureau of General Affairs and Tokyo Metropolitan University
The Tokyo Metropolitan University (TMU) will host an international student symposium, “Five-Continent Student Symposium,” as a Tokyo 2020 support program. The symposium name comes from the five continents represented by the Olympic rings.
To further promote international exchange among TMU students and boost the international presence of the TMU by inviting about 150 students and other people involved from over 20 countries and regions centering on the TMU’s strategic partners.
To contribute to developing momentum for the Tokyo 2020 Games by having students from the TMU and invited overseas universities to participate in panel discussions and other programs, on the themes of “Unity in Diversity” and “Connecting to Tomorrow,” which are the core concepts of the Tokyo 2020 Games.
