The Tokyo Metropolitan Government (TMG) will promote a variety of events as GRAND CYCLE TOKYO in order to make bicycles even more common, which is both environmentally friendly and good for health.
To start, we will hold the bicycle ride event "RAINBOW BRIDGE RIDE" and the sports experience event "MULTISPORTS" on Wednesday November 23 2022 (national holiday) in the waterfront area.
We are pleased to announce that the content of “MULTISPORTS” are now finalized and the promotional videos have been published.
About 30 different sports experiences will be offered, and top athletes will give highly intense demonstrations. In addition, various contents will be held at each venue throughout the day in cooperation with local wards, neighborhood associations, and performance groups.
There will also be other events held together with TV stations, live music by popular musicians such as CHEMISTRY and el tempo, and delicious food trucks. Please see the attachment(PDF:1,708KB) for a list of sports experiences, etc., and the special event website for other details.
We have published two promotional videos in Japanese and English for the event to be held on Wednesday, November 23 2022 (national holiday) as follows. The message from Governor KOIKE is included in these videos.
