The Tokyo Metropolitan Government (TMG) is pleased to announce the following opening of the Tokyo Metropolitan Parasports Training Center, which will be the first Tokyo metropolitan base for improving competitiveness in parasports, and serve as a place where people with and without impairments can become familiar with parasports.

2. Website

We are pleased to announce the launch of the facility website (in Japanese only) (External link). It will provide information such as future events held at the facility.

3. Usage

The facility will be available to the general public from Wednesday, March 22, 2023.
To ensure that parasports federations and teams can continue to use the facility over the long term, the facility usage fee will be exempted in the meantime for groups consisting mainly of those with impairments.

4. Parasports Classes / Experience Sessions, etc.

The facility will host various parasports classes and experience sessions.
For its opening, a wheelchair basketball experience sessions will be held in early April. You can find details about how to apply on the facility website.
