International Conference on Open Access to Culture 2024
“Culture and Home: New future opened by art”

October 29-November 3, Tokyo International Forum, free of charge

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government (TMG) and Arts Council Tokyo of the Tokyo Metropolitan Foundation for History and Culture will hold the 2nd International Conference on Open Access to Culture, one of the legacies of the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games. This conference aims to promote the realization of a symbiotic society through arts and culture in view of the upcoming Tokyo 2025 Deaflympics.

October 29 (Tue) – November 3 (Sun)

Venue:

Tokyo International Forum, Hall B5, Rooms G502, 510, and others

Entry fee:

Free of charge

The conference consists of the following (full event line-up to be announced in September)

1)Conference

Presentations and sessions inviting leading experts in art and deaf culture from Japan and abroad. 

2)Showcase

Experience the crossover of art and cutting-edge technology, with exhibitions of touchable art by Japanese and international artists.

3)Networking

Cultural salons for presenters, firms, medical and welfare organizations, and creators to exchange expertise and knowledge.

4)Communications Lab

Workshops inviting participants to share ideas and take part in experiences.
A variety of art installations that visitors can freely enjoy are also being planned.
