The Tokyo 2020 Olympic Torch Relay’s journey through Tokyo’s municipalities and the celebration venues approved

The Tokyo Torch Relay Committee is studying matters related to the organization of the torch relays across Tokyo. Late last year, the Committee proposed the general route and celebration sites(*) of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Torch Relay to the Tokyo 2020 Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games. The International Olympic Committee has approved the proposal as per the attached.

(*)where events are held to celebrate the arrival of the torch to the last host municipality of that day
