Have you ever heard of KURUMIRU, a store located on the B1 floor of Tomin Plaza in front of Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building No. 1? It offers a large selection of stationery, daily necessities, and accessories. All products are made at welfare facilities for the disabled called Type B facilities for support for continuous employment. The Tocho Store marked its 5th anniversary this year. Everything is carefully made, well designed, and reasonably priced. In addition to the Tocho Store, there is also the Marui Kinshicho Store and Isetan Tachikawa Store, for a total of three in Tokyo.
Store manager Hayakawa Yoko said, “There are many repeat customers. Each item is handmade and unique, so everyone takes their time to choose before buying.”
