With End of 2020 Games, Role-serving Emblems Removed
From December 15 to 20, 2021, the Tokyo 2020 emblems that were placed on the exterior walls of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Buildings and Assembly Building were removed. The work was performed during the daytime and also during the night and early morning. The emblems, which had been on display since May 2016, have served their role with the end of the Games.
