Port of Tokyo Joint Anti-Terrorism Drill in Preparation for Terrorism at Port of Tokyo
On November 16, the Port of Tokyo Security Committee and the Port of Tokyo Border Crisis Management Team conducted a joint 2022 anti-terrorism drill at the Tokyo International Cruise Terminal in the area in front of Tokyo International Cruise Wharf (Koto City).
A vessel belonging to the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Bureau of Port and Harbor informed the Port Crisis Officer of the Port of Tokyo that a suspicious small ship approaching from the sea was entering the restricted area and approaching the wharf while passengers were disembarking from a foreign cruise ship docked at the Tokyo International Cruise Wharf. The Port of Tokyo Crisis Management Team organizations[Note] engaged in a joint response with 67 participants.
